Giving me Happy Allen family feels and then ripping them away: just another episode of the Flash.
*sobbing forever*
So why don’t Iris and Joe speak? And going along with that, how can Joe and Wally have a relationship but not Iris and Joe? It must be a recent separation, right?
If everything else with their family still played out the same way, up until Wally joined them, then yeah the falling out must be recent. But we don’t know if everything went the same. Maybe Iris reacted differently to finding out her mother had been alive all that time and it caused a rift with her and Joe?
Caitlin’s hand in the promo! Is that because of Flashpoint or does something happen to her?
All I know is I’m excited because it seems like Caitlin’s gonna get a cool storyline this season! Give us all the Killer Frost!!!
What’s up with Cisco and Barry?
In the promo it looks like Cisco’s in some sorta grief couselling?
Where the ever loving HECK is Harrison Wells?! Which ever version!
It was a bummer to not see some version of him in the first ep. But I guess we might still get some insight into his current state depending on what the STAR Labs situation is in ep 2? I believe E2 Harry and Jesse are meant to be back in ep 3?
Dr Alchemy!
This had better end up being the alter ego of Tom Felton’s character. Because Dr Alchemy in the comics uses the Philosopher’s Stone. And you don’t go and introduce a character associated with the Philosopher’s Stone, AND cast a Potterverse actor at the same time and have it be a coincidence.
“This is what love feels like” (I die. Shipper death)
SOULMATES!
Yes I wondered about this as well. Because if RF didn’t kill Wells then he also doesn’t become Wells meaning he doesn’t put in motion everything to make Barry into the Flash. So..? I guess he must have delivered Barry home and then gone back in time to kill Wells and let those events happen?
Well, but Barry still had his powers even in the Flashpoint timeline, even though the particle accelerator explosion didn’t happen to him in the same way it did in his original timeline, so he just brought his powers with him because they’re already a part of him. So, he could still have his powers in the NEW timeline, even if the particle accelerator explosion didn’t happen in that timeline. I think? Original Harrison Wells was still planning STAR Labs and all that stuff, it’s just that his target date was much later, and it wasn’t until Thawne took over as him that it got moved up and the explosion happened. So, original recipe Harrison Wells could still potentially be trucking along with his original plans, and the particle accelerator could not even be built yet, and Barry could still have his powers because they’re a part of him that has gone along with him as he’d hopped through timelines. I…think?
How does Flashbpoint (or the undoing of Flashpoint to be more specific) affect the other shows because over the summer (and a little before) some very weird bits of news were trickled out.
They have mentioned that Flashpoint will have an effect on Diggle’s life in particular. They were vague about it, but whenever they were asked how Flashpoint would impact Arrow, they mentioned it having something to do with Diggle, in particular his family. At the 7sec mark in that promo, is that Diggle holding a kid on the computer screen?
How do we get Supergirl into this Universe? It was established in the SuperFlash crossover that Kara is in a whole other universe. Can the undoing of Flashpoint merge universes?
I don’t think her Earth is being merged into the others just yet? The latest bits of info about the big crossover seem to suggest that they need to go over to her Earth to get her and bring her back to help with the alien threat that will be the big bad for the crossover. So I think maybe Supergirl’s Earth will still be separate, for now, maybe? But then, they’re having another Flash/Supergirl crossover later in the season, and wouldn’t that be easier if her Earth has been pulled into alignment with the other one by then?
They’ve said Arrow’s timeline would be affected but I’m more curious about one Miss Laurel Lance because how? We know Katie Cassidy is coming back and is a regular across all the shows but, well y’know, Laurel DIED last season.
I’m sure they could cook up some way that Flashpoint changed things enough to bring her back. But I’ve also thought how Darhk is gonna be on Legends, and if he dies at some point in the past then he was never around to kill Laurel. But I’m guessing they’re gonna have Sara resist the urge to lop his head off when she sees him in the past, because that makes for some growth for her character to not just give into revenge.
Basically the same as number two except replace Laurel with Captain Cold! But whatever. I just want Lenny and Sara to meet again. #CaptainCanary
I need to see Lenny and Sara encounter each other again like I need air!
How will Flashpoint affect LoT if at all? Those guys hop around time so much as it is that I can’t see it having any real lasting consequence on a team who’s overall story is to move all over time and space.
I would guess it wouldn’t.
