I suspect we will be seeing quite a bit more of Alternate Rumple. Will he make his way to Storybrooke? How does he know of it’s existence?
I surely hope we will see lots of him. That he might come to Storybrook never crossed my mind… Why would he want too?
Maybe if he learns he has a son, that is alive? Where is Belle in this A.U.? Presumably, if alive, she is the same age as the Charmings, unless she has been keeping Pan company.
What bothers is that WishWorld!Rumple seems to know/understand/believe that he’s fake. But the world isn’t fake. Which means that Rumple–a Rumple who apparently saw his son come back fall in love, have a child, die and STILL Rumple wants the dark curse cast…?–is real. I dunno. Will he come to SB? I sorta doubt it.

Yeah, I don’t get it. As soon as he learned it was a fake world, he should have been figuring out a way to make it, or at least him, real, and letting the two real people a way out of there doesn’t seem the smartest idea….
Do we know he still want the Dark Curse cast? I don’t remember A.U. Rumple saying that to Regina.
If I imagine the alternate time-line in this A.U. what happens? Presumably the Charmings banish EQ, at the very least, before Emma is at the age of majority, perhaps sooner, even much sooner. Rumple did call Regina his failed student (he should be a lot more bitter about the Dark Curse not being cast). Or perhaps the Dark Curse was cast but managed to be directed only at Regina, and she ended up in Storybrooke all alone?
So, at some point, either Emma ends up on Earth (I assume in her fantasy world she didn’t grow up an orphan, so I shorter-visit to our ‘verse), and/or Neal/Baelfire ends up back in the enchanted forest. Assuming there was that much thought behind it all in Emma’s head 😉 They have a relationship, possibly marriage, at lease some of which is in the Enchanted Forest (going by the clothes in the royal portrait) but their lives together are cut short, and died either before Henry was born and/or shortly after.
Not that I want want to put too much thought into it, but this is 30 years of living, no curse. Did Belle just rot-to-death in EQ’s castle when they banished EQ? Did she escape or get rescued? Did she and Rumple repeat in A.U. for 30 years what has happened over the last 3-ish years that has passed, in-story, on this show? Ugh. Is their an A.U. Gideon? And/or did they split? Whether it goes good or bad – how and at which point does someone get the better of Rumple and he ends up in the jail/psych-ward?
