I 10000% agree about Jasper.
It’s starting to bug me the way everyone keeps questioning Clarke’s decisions in a really aggressive way. She’s saved them over and over again
This this this. I was seriously annoyed by so many people at the camp this episode. In one breath everyone says, “Clarke will save us. Clarke will figure something. Clarke will come up with a plan.” And then in the next moment, “Clarke you aren’t god and you can’t mess with people’s lives like this.” They want her to lead and be in charge and be their savior until they realize that being a Savior isn’t all sunshine and kittens. It means making seriously hard, seriously tragic decisions. Look at how torn up Clarke was last episode choosing who to put on the list. She couldn’t even put her own name on the list, Bellamy had to do it! Now, I get that the others in the camp don’t see those small personal moments, but they acted like Clarke was Jaha 2.0.
I loved the tension in this scene. I loved Bellamy’s reaction.
I lost a bit of love for Bellamy last year but that scene reminded me why I liked Bellamy to begin with. His deepest story is still with his sister which is refreshing.
In other news: Octavia is epic (though I do wonder if her story this year is figuring out that justice and revenge really aren’t one and the same)
