We can only hope that is not the ending and the article says Emma “will end the series in a newer version of the classic red jacket.” That is why, as i said, i believe her chances of dying goes up because we see her in a red jacket in the sword fight against the hooded figure. Emma might get married in her red jacket though. Still the curse breaking and returning to the Enchanted Forest makes sense as a bookend for the series.
