I think what complicates OUAT’s situation is the actors contracts. If this was say S5 it would absolutely get a full and final season to wrap it up. But the fact that we’re dealing with actor contracts complicates things a lot.
Which explains why Reaper is suggesting it may not be saved and I’m with him. I’d much rather the show end with the cast I love then to come back to S7 and it be completely unrecognizable.
