Let’s say these rumors are true, which I am not sure I totally believe. I wonder if they will try to have their cake and eat it too. They could have Rumple sacrifice himself for his family (wait didn’t we do that in season 3) and then have Belle go through a portal thinking she is going back to the enchanted forest and end up in the wish realm with the Rumple who does not have a Belle. That Belle and Rumple could live out their days in the “fake” world. I actually think they could do this because of the way Wish Realm Rumple seems to know all about storybrooke and the way he was very sarcastic every time he said “fake” realm. I think he knows more than we realize and I could see him wanting to have Belle and Gideon with him.
Or like someone said here and i also saw some people online saying this, if Rumple dies,then Belle and gideon would see him as a hero, they still move on with their lives and Rumple reunites with the person he always said was him happy ending, Bae, this for me is a good happy ending to everyone, let`s not forget that Rumple is not the traditional beast of the B&B, he has more characters, so if they wanted to kill Charming at the pilot, i could see them, kill Rumple,show Belle and gideon proud of him, and moving on with their lives, while Rumple reunites with bae in the afterlife.
I mean the show already said that in death you can also get a HEA.
