Uhh talk about confusing…..well given what Rumple’s Girl laid out, is there still a timeline error? If the First Ogres War lasted a while, then there should be no issues right?
I don’t think so? It’s still seems like a bit of a stretch that the First Ogres War lasted from before Rumple left for war (and given how easy it was for Rumple to enlist, I think we can hazard a guess that the War was already well under way) until Baelfire was 8/9 but it’s not 100% outside the realm of possibility and it actually has some historical precedent.
For me it comes back to what @nevermore was saying: I shouldn’t have to miles of mental legwork to rationalize everything from the timeline to character motivation. Certainly not after 6 years.
