Maybe if Black Fairy turns out to be even older than we think, it works. She could be the real “Rue Gorem”, the original power, the guardian of the night or whatever it was that Morraine called the Blue Fairy. Maybe she was the original protector of kids (which Blue did say) and then started taking them to fuel evil and dark magic or something.
