And also I wouldn’t exactly be pressed the ship wasn’t “predestined”. The way that Hook makes his lines about it is actually pretty decent viewpoint. It also reminds me of something Snow said to Charming an episode or two ago where she said “Is this about Hook? Charming that ship has sailed and there’s a pirate on it, let it go”. It seems the writers are saying “This wasn’t something that was planned from the start, but we’re here now so just deal” and I agree with that. I think we all do. It’s not a bad thing. Snow didn’t say let it go. She said, deal with it, aka get over it, move on, bye bye.
Uh no that’s not what the writers were saying. Not everything has to circle back to your crack ship BB.
The writers were basically saying to all the CS and Hook haters aka you(SF) and SQ shippers that no matter how much you whine, no matter how much you complain, no matter how much you scream about rape culture, and all that good stuff. CS is here to stay and you should just deal with it.
