So the third part of the trilogy actually had me bit unnerved and emotional. Maybe because I know we are losing Capaldi and there is no certainty of Bill making it past this season. However when Bill was willing to sacrifice herself I was teary not to mention it brought some strong river song feelings.
@RumplesGirl I literally watch the mom memory savior with two sides. On one side I felt like you did yet on the other side there was something so emotional sweet about her memory to her mom, her talking to her mom. I mean the emotional impact of that hit even if it was somewhat fragmented.
But can I saw how much I LOVE absolutely love the relationship between the doctor and Bill. Like there is such a sentimental sweetness about them. The beauty of platonic/familial love is truly something special in its own right. In a social-media-interactive world where shipping makes it seems like romanticism is the sole significant highlight of almost any narrative or character interaction there is something refreshing about watching platonic and familial relationships develop and blossom into love and connection that is just valued and worthwhile as the romantic one. (Holy Heck Run on sentence.)
I guess what I am saying is I enjoyed the 3rd part of the Trilogy even with its faults. It really struck my heart touch me pang me. I literally cried. For that hour I was both emotional enthralled and invested.
Bill, Doctor, and Missy scenes and interactions just sort of hit home.
Beautiful acting by all three.
Nordole I am sorry buddy I want to love you , however you are just not fitting into the mix like I want you to. You are not harmonizing the trio for me. I found the Doctor, Missy, and Bill to make a far better peanut butter and banana sandwich of a team. But that just me and dorkiness.
I really really wanted River and Missy to meet. Alex and Michelle, Those acting beauties would have been fun together!
