And no Harley…..interesting.

Most speculation I’ve seen is that the girl who Bruce svaes at the end in the alley with her parents is a young Harley.

Overall I really enjoyed the season as a whole, though a few things in the last few eps got a bit “meh”. Like I get how they needed to show Bruce going through the process with the Shaman, otherwise it would have made no sense for how he came back SO brainwashed that he’d even kill Alfred (OMG!), but those scenes with the Shaman did end up dragging. And for whatever reason, even though I really enjoy the camp in this show and over the top villains, the Executioner thing was a bit cringe inducing for me. And I can really do without Lee, so I hope she’s gone for good. She was dull most of the time, and did get more interesting when she got Tetched, but it kinda bugged me how apparently the show doesn’t know how to write a female character as interesting unless she has a dark side.

The finale felt a bit all over the place at times, I get that Gotham = chaos, but it all seemed a bit hastily cobbled together. Then there were bits where they kept repeating a similar theme, of 2 characters having a seemingly final face to face showdown, and I get what they were doing with each scene, but the repitition got a tad tiresome.

Also I’m definitely biased, but dang those League of Assassins members looked like bumbling fools compared to the discipline of the LoA in Arrow. Gotham’s R’as must not be that tough of a task master if his minions stumble around that much.

Alfred was the MVP of the finale. In the midst of all the stuff that didn’t really hit home for me, Alfred made me want to cry multiple times.

Ed (sorry, Riddler) and Oswald were the MVPs of the season as a whole. How that relationship has been developed into their little feud to the death (but as if either of them could actually kill the other) is really engaging, and CMS and RLT are both FLAWLESS in their performances and have me enthralled whenever either of them in on screen.
