I’m not sure if I can write about 7×1, so I’ll put in in spoilers to be safe.
I read on Tumblr that cursed Adult Henry believes his wife and child died in a fire. That sounds really sad, but the heavy SF symbolism really struck me too. Remember when cursed Emma and kid Henry believed they had moved to NYC because a fire had destroyed their home in Boston? Remember all the nods to fire, as in Baelfire, like the fire escape and Emma lying to Henry about his dad being a fire fighter? Now here is adult Henry, the son of Baelfire, all of these years later tragically reliving the kind of heartache that his own parents suffered after being tragically parted because of Pinocchio, a curse, and Emma’s role as the savior. *dead*
