I was thinking the same namely because supposedly our mystery man is in New York, or so it seems. I don’t really recall there being a location stamp so other than people familiar with the location being shot, others making mention of a familiar location or just subtle hints of the location via atmosphere relation, I would have never guessed that the location this gentleman was living in was New York. I was doing a little bit of research into who this artist is and hoping it would give way to some kind of identity to our mystery man. Although he does have a good sound, there seemed to be some “odd” controversy surrounding his life. Although it isn’t so surprising, as with some if not most artist of his age, I still find it somewhat “shocking”?
(slightly off the current topic)
I like that it may not have been intended research but that knowing of these things helps to understand what was possibly thought about when the writers were putting their own thoughts and time at producing a script. It might not have anything to do with the story currently unfolding but knowing that others had arrived at a similar thought process, makes it “cool” to a certain degree.
