I actually like this idea too- not that I like Cora one bit 😉 but it would be a good twist.
I’m not sure Cora was all that powerful without her book tbh, otherwise how would Regina have managed to have busted her ‘halting’? curse in We are both?

I too think she wants to get back to SB or where ever Snow & Emma came from- she was far to interested in that point for my liking 😉 I can see Cora coming into play as a major evil player- Rumps doesn’t like her, Regina doesn’t like her, so it makes sense (sadly 😉 ) that since Cora is someone even our own baddies dislike, she’ll eventually become our main/big villain.
