So there is a good chance he might have told someone about the strange things happening to him, a friend, a colleague outside Storybrooke: Greg Mendell. After all Storybrooke is not completely severed from the world, calls are made outside Storybrooke (like when Sidney dug up dirt on Emma)
Another clue: Sneezy’s Storybrooke shop is called Dark Star Pharmacy. Hello Star Wars!
