I’m sorry but I still don’t believe that. As much as I know there are a lot of Hook fans, I do not, for a second, think, that they would be able to even remotely sabotage the vast space that tumblr is. The site is supposedly visited by 49 million people/month. And there are millions of tumblr sites that are not, surprisingly, devoted to anything even remotely related to OUaT and, in proportion to them, Collin’s fanbase fades into next to nothing. (but I do understand what you are saying! When Lana Parrilla’s last, nearly naked, photo session was released, there was an Armageddon all over the place…)
Everyone now will be claiming that it must be them who caused tumblr to crash, yet, I don’t think neither of the statements are true (for example, some other people say it must have been because of the death of Richard Griffiths on that day etc — and he is a MUCH MUCH greater actor than Colin! or because of the so long awaited Game of Thrones season 3 premiere, which, btw, broke many records itself)(Not to mention that for such a vast space, tumblr surely has more than just one server!)
Just search twitter results for “vancityfilming” and “tumblr” for March 29th. What you’ll find in conversation will speak for itself.
It may happen again, or it may not. I guess it just depends on what gets put online.
I know it seems a little unbelievable (personally, I find it hilarious), but this event is recorded and doesn’t have to be defended. Too, I don’t feed antagonization, so I’m not going to say anything else about it.
