I’ve never seen Lost so I can’t comment on that. I do know August is of Latin origin and means great or magnificent. I’ve thought that it could be a title like “The Great Wayne Booth.” Wayne Booth was a 20th century literary critic of fictional works and had several theories like the “unreliable narrator.” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wayne_C._Booth
