I can definitely see this happening. However, trying to predict what their reunion will be like is a little difficult without a timeline. How old is Baelfire? I think his age will determine his reaction. The older he is, the longer the pain will simmer. The younger he is, the more raw his feelings of loss and sorrow will be, which might cause him to opt for an early reconciliation. He was a just a little boy, so his longing for his father will eventually take over.
I agree. Baelfire’s reaction may be different depending on where in time he was sent. It’ll be very interesting to see. 😉
