I agree compleatly and that idea about him working with August is an interesting one but i kind of hope it’s not true. Bae having some clue about what’s going on would have to lessen the shock of finding out what his dad has been up to since he left and that would take out a lot of the drama.
And it just seemed to me (and i haven’t watched the epp in a while so correct me if i’m wrong) that August just knew about the dagger. It was Rumple who assumed the he was Bae and he just went along with it as an opportunity not to get killed when the plot didn’t work.
If he is Henry’s father, i have an idea of what may have happened between him in Emma. I think that at the time he was married and perhaps about to separate when he met Emma. They date and do other things and then his wife turns up pregnant or really sick or something and he goes back to her because you don’t abandon family, not when they need you like that. All Emma saw of the situation was that he left his pregnant/sick wife and turned her into the other woman.
Another thing I would be interested to see is Bae’s relationship with Bell. Now don’t get me worng, i’m not talking about romantic here. But she is, in effect (even if it’s not offical) his step-mother. They are the only two who would be in Rumple’s corner trying to get him to cure himsef of his power trip. AND, depending on how old he is in realtion to Emma, Bell is the same age or younger than him. It would be an interesting dynamic to explore.
I can totally see them ploting together and Emma thinking they were going out or something and jumping down Bae’s throate about it. 😆
One thing i am interested in seeing is how Henry would react to all this, assuming Bae is his daddy. It would be interesting to see the Henry/Bae/Rumple dynamic and how Emma tries to keep him away from them (she rightfully doesn’t trust Gold and there has to be some anamostiy between her and Bae given the way she talked about him and the fact that she never told him her eggo was preggo).
