I love that idea, S.Sanchez- we really have not gotten enough of them this season, especially with Belle being without her memories for half of it. I hope Belle is more fully integrated next season.
I really want to see Belle struggle to come to terms with what happened. When she remembers, she is going to have to contend with having all of Lacey’s memories. It’s going to be a shock to her system- this will be the first time she is truly experiencing “we are both” because in the asylum, she was essentially a blank slate. I will be so disappointed if this aspect is left unexplored and Belle just returns to status qua, completely unaffected by what happened. After all, she didn’t seem terribly changed by all those years she spent locked up.
