Disney owns the network that makes OUAT and that gives them a lot of legal leeway to put in little details that are nods to the Disney stuff (just look at the entirety of “skin deep” for examples). That does not mean that the Disney stuff should be considered a prequel or sequel to the way the stories play out in OUAT.
I understand how cool it is to notice little things like that, but you have to realize that OUAT changes more than it keeps when it comes to the Disney stuff. You can’t see one little detail in one and take it as proof that something is the case in the other. As interesting as Bell writing the book in OUAT would be, the evidence points otherwise.
