Captain Hook has become the byronic hero. I sort of hope that Emma or Belle realize that Hook is not rotten but so incredibly broken that he is nearly driven insane from his grief and heartbreak. He is not as bad Heathcliff. It would be an interesting turn of events to have Belle and Hook become friends and possibly Hook trying to insinuate something more to get under Rumpel’s skin
