It does seem rather careless that Charming wouldn’t try to hide his mother. The events of when he left King George to when he finally met up with Snow again at the glass coffin might not be that many days, a couple of weeks, or a month at the most.
I really thought that they would have Snow meet Charming’s mother and his mother would help her before either of them ever knew who the other was, but that never happened. Maybe it isn’t too late. They could have Snow and Red go there after they run from the hunting party.
