I actually wouldn’t mind a separate section to talk about the actors themselves. A lot of the fans start liking the character and slowly learn to like the actor/actress him/her-self but don’t know much about them (for example the roles they used to play). A separate section would allow to share some of that information among the fans and it would feel ‘in the right place’ as well, since the “everything else off topic” just doesn’t cut the bill.
Also agree that if it was merged in the character discussion it would get mixed very easily and a lot of threads would be lost in the crowd.
PriceofMagic – the actors aren’t discussed precisely for that reason that there isn’t a section that would fit it.
The section could start with the threads that we’ve had recently – ‘who would you have interviewed next?’ and ‘what questions would you ask the actors?’
