Reviews, theories, and talk about ABC's Once Upon a Time TV show

I’m confused about something (but maybe I misunderstood). When I watched the “at home” interviews with Robert and Lana, it sounded like ABC was submitting Robert for consideration for Best Actor and submitting Lana for consideration for Best Supporting Actress. That confuses me. Why wouldn’t Lana be submitted for consideration for Best Actress?? I don’t consider her a supporting actress at all – I think of her as the MAIN actress on the show because she is the female baddie. The guy interviewing her said something like it was really smart that they were submitting her for Best Supporting Actress so maybe they are thinking she has a better shot at winning in that category? But, won’t the people who would be deciding who the nominees will be also think she isn’t really a SUPPORTING actress so that would actually decrease her chances of even getting nominated? Could the people who decide who the nominees are decide to “upgrade” her to Best Actress if they really like her?
