AT the beginning of the episode, when they show scenes from older episodes they showed something that I had also remembered before. Rumpel saying to Snow (while giving her the potion) that “He won’t even remember who he is.”
I know the potion-curse has been broken, but I believe that it’s not only the evil curse that is making him forget but also the side-effects of that potion. Kathryn telling him (as we now know she did) that he and MM should be together, triggered the memories.
It’s strange though that he doesn’t question the memories at all. I mean Snow had long hair, had weird clothes on and the forrest was covered in snow. There wasn’t any snow in SB!
