Jane Espenson had an interview last night with Blog Talk Radioand someone called in and asked about the Hook and Emma chemistry and she said the writers are aware of it. So I would assume that they don't kill him off. She sounded like it was a possibility of them getting together for a little bit at least. She actually answered a lot of questions. I've loved her writing for a while and I know she likes to reform the bad guy… (prime example Spike from Buffy — he too was crass and a lot of people hated him when he first arrived, but then tons of people shipped Buffy and Spike all the way till the end.)
