In episode 18, we heard Daniel say that “love is the most powerful magic of all.” Since Emma is the product of true love, she may have her magic because of that love.
I believe that true love is part of it, but aren’t a lot of children born from true love? Of course not all, but a lot are. So, what exactly is it about Emma’s magic that makes her perfect for this curse? Snow and Charming didn’t have anything specifically magical about them, so why does Emma even have magic? I can’t help but think that she carries a fair bit of dark magic in her. Rumpel is using her as a tool to break this curse. She’s the key to breaking “the curse to end all curses.” And like stated before, she didn’t inherit any magic from her parents. So, this leads me to think that she has a mixture of good magic born from true love, and the dark magic that Rumpel infused her with to break the curse.
Ow, my head hurts. 😕
