I agree. I just watched Desperate Souls and it’s in this episode that we see a first in Emma wanting to be something, to show Henry something. It’s when she realises that she wants to be in Henry’s life. That feeling only increased in the episodes up til now.
I must say, whatever anyone else thinks, Emma is one of the most interesting characters in the series. It’s the character that did the most growing until now (including MM, who also had a great transformation, coming slowly closer to the Snow we know). She did a lot of growing up and I think, whatever happens in the next episodes there’s more coming.
