I am not sure about the street lights flashing red. Only because i think they might of done that for two reasons. One being that in small towns they sometimes do that in the middle of the night so that people don’t have to wait for lights when they are the only one on the road. And the second reason was because of the way that shot that scene. They like sprayed the ground with water and the lighting would have been all out of whack if they let the light continue to change like normal because of the reflection. I do think they might have made it so that the power line sparked when Emma slammed the door though like welcome the savior.
