They had to leave clues. This show is so layered that, if they didn’t people would think every little twist was just pulled out of the writers behinds. That’s what i like about the show so much.
The flip side to this is that, for those freaks like us who spend a lot of time talking about it, we can often figure it out before the big reveal. Even if it is the kind of thing the casual viewer would be blown away from.
For those of you whose main reason for not wanting Neal to be Bae (and you are perfectly entitled to your opinion) just because it would be “too predictable,” what would be worse; a show that is predictable or a show that isn’t as tied together?
