Yeah but I think the gaps between episodes would lead you to think its not an exact timeline, including the whole summer break was about a 5 to 10 minute gap in the Storyline, I think first season might have lined up more but this season has been really condensed with Emma and Snow in FTL and what has occurred from episodes 2×10 to 2×16.

Perhaps this is a question someone needs to ask Adam on twitter. I do think it will be Henry’s 12th birthday, which does make sense if what I said is true. Henry was 10 in October 2011, which means he turned 11 last year, so his 11th birthday definitely already passed at least before October 2012. I don’t think they would be holding a really late birthday party. Yeah the timeline may not make sense as far as how events have lined up, but I think the writers are sticking to each episode roughly occurring in accordance to real time to make things simpler on themselves. We also don’t know how long Emma and Snow were really in FTL. There were definitely moments with them traveling, sleeping, etc. that we didn’t necessarily see. FTL is a big place, so it could have took quite some time to get from one place to another, especially on foot.
