The numbers do look like Dewey classification numbers, but I can ‘t detect a connection between them and the words. For instance, 302.5 in Dewey is the classification for “the relation between an individual and society “–nothing to do with “foyer.”
But I suspect the writers have used Dewey before. In “Lost” the bearing that a ship is supposed to follow to get to the island hapens to be the same number that in Dewey represents immigration and colonization (325).
By the way, am I the only one who wonders what Emma’s done about that gorgeous apartment? We’ve never seen her cancel her lease so I’ve been wondering if she’s kept the place, just in case SB doesn’t work out.
