Those results could also reflect the fact that Hook has been several episodes, while Neal has only been 1 (aside from his 60 second appearance in “Broken”). The more screentime a character gets, the more results he’s bound to get.
Exactly. I’d hardly call them completely objective. And a lot of it could have been because Hook was a beloved fairy tail character in his own right and that’s why they made such a big hype about it. Plus the words you used could have brought up results for other things. Say an article from when they first announced him wondering how Emma would react to seeing a big pirate ship in Storybrooke harbor. Neal’s bound to have less publicity at this point and that doesn’t necessarily mean that there are less SwanTheif shippers out there (it doesn’t mean that their is either).
But for all the Neal haters out there–the ones that say he has not chemistry with Emma or that he’s not good looking enough for her– all I ask is that everyone waits until the story unfolds more to decide if that ship is ruiening the show. I would do that same if it looked like they were going to make Captain Swan endgame.
Okay, that’s the last thing I’ll say about it. Now, back to Manhattan. One good thing does come out of this. It’s great to know people can leave Storybrooke. That, will continue to make things ever more interesting.
I hope that it’s only temporary or that Gold had to jump through A LOT of hoops to get through the barrier. I think if everyone can get out whenever they want, I’d be kind of afraid that a lot of people will want to scatter and I like the idea of Storybrooke being kind of isolated.
