Hi, I’ve been reading this thread and since everyone is giving their opinion I thought I’d put my two cents in.
If I was the actor who plays Hook, I would be thrilled knowing that people love my acting, and feel the need to talk about my character 24/7. That would mean that i’m doing my job in entertaing people and drawing in audiences’ attention.
Everyone is different so not everyone will enjoy Hooks’ character, and there are people who are captivated by the character and love to talk about him. I personally don’t see anything wrong with people wanting to comment about him constantly. It doesn’t hurt anyone, if it gets annoying, then ignore it. If Hook fans have fun talking about him, then let them have their fun – you don’t have to acknowldege it if it annoys you.
This is a discussion site, it’s what to be expected. So just have fun and let others have their fun 🙂
