I have the feeling Henry is making a wish over the cake. A paralelism with Emma’s birthday in the pilot. And her wish -not to be alone in her birthday- became true. Now, there have been some instances of Henry wanting a “world without magic” -all that speech of “look what magic does to people, etc”- as his father did.
Maybe Henry is sending himself to the “land without magic” his father were first; Neverland? Not neccesarily in this very episode, but that could be a way to settle the plot to the season finale.
And regarding that horrified look, i agree with what has been said previously: Tamara could be related to it someway.
Ah, by the way! I like Rumpelstiltskin+ Belle story, but as someone has pointed out -sorry, i’ve just read the whole post and can’t remember who was that- he looks more like a concerned father than like a worried partner. Even she looks more like “ok, man, i know you love me but just leave alone, right?” hope it is just a feeling at first sight, but it was kinda weird :S :S
