I wonder if she gets out of the hospital before this episode. There is a lot of talk of a very intense emotional Rumbelle scene in The Miller’s Daughter, but Rumple and Belle aren’t in the same room at the time. Makes me wonder if the hospital releases her and Rumple wants to take her home, but of course she won’t go with him and this causes lots of emotion in the show and in the fandom.
