I agree. I’ve read a couple spoilers that Emma’s magic will come into play in the S2 finale and in S3. What if Emma’s magic is powerful enough to override Regina’s magical failsafe? 💡 😮 We know the self-destruct button will get triggered, but we don’t know for sure whether it will successfully wipe SB off of the map. In the promo, Regina is using her last ounce of power to hold off what she believes is their ultimate doom. What if Emma then steps in and saves everyone? She’s the savior. Rumple has said her magic is even more powerful than she knows. Well, in order to protect Henry, her maternal drive might go into overdrive, and her magic is triggerd by emotion. So she could get an adrenaline-overdose of mom-power and stop the total annihilation of the town. Maybe?
