I am pretty sure Nealfire and Hook were friends–Hook saved his life by hauling him out of the water. It seems likely though at some point Hook resumed his quest to kill Rumpel, and Nealfire wouldn’t of course, be on board with that.
Agreed. Also yeah, Graham wasn’t quite the same scale as Milah but it was under similar circumstances (though she didn’t know it at the time) and she was finally open to something again and then that happened, being the first blow but she recovered. Having had something now happen to Neal she’ll be way more in that mindset and certainly out for justice if not for revenge (she knows that GOAT need to be stopped but she’s not a killer either – it’s the fine line that Snow & Charming has where he thinks certain people should die but he needs Snow to not be part of it because look how well she doesn’t handle things – Emma is a good mixture of the two so *might* do what’s necessary, especially with the right motivation, but she’s also likely to try to find another way).
Agreed on the points about Neal & Hook, can’t wait to see what their relationship to each other was really like.
