Whether or not Baelfire is going to become a full fledged pirate is yet to be seen…but it does look like he is going to be having pirate adventures aboard the Jolly Roger. I still think Baelfire will ultimately be Peter Pan. In the Peter Pan story, Peter comes to the nursery looking for his shadow…it is a nice twist on the story if in OUAT they have the shadow come looking for the boy. It will be interesting to see how they play this story out…but I’m still holding onto Bae ultimately becoming Peter Pan.
