Bae suffering from severe depression or mental problems wouldn’t shock me at all. His father abandoned him, he crossed multiple realsm and was left all by himself to cope in an alien world. I’d be surprised if the Bae we saw in the flashbacks is still the same Bae we see in future seasons. The poor guy must be an absolute reck.
