The Pinocchio sneak peek is interesting. Especially since I was at a used book sale today with my son and when we were browsing through the children’s books, I found a copy of the Disney “Pinocchio.” 😀
I read through it and, lo and behold, at the end (after Monstro has spit ’em out), they’re in the water and Gepetto yells at Pinocchio to save himself. (Rather like the SP, although the timing’s different.) Pinocchio refuses and drags Gepetto to safety, then when Gepetto wakes up, he finds Pinocchio on the shore, lifeless. 🙁 He picks him up, weeping .. and that’s when he turns into a real boy. Which looks very familiar considering some of the leaked photos.
Yeah, I think this is going to be good. I bet I’m going to cry. Especially if it all ends like I’m imaging. 😉
