Also ,the Home office could be devout catholics or christians like the ones who made Paganism as evil, even though it was/is a religion of the Earth. It could be like making the horned god the devil and things like that. Not that I don’t admire Saint Patrick, but he was the one who “drove the snakes out of Ireland” aka, pagans, and I am mad about that. If they wanted to, they could have made the “Home Office” as old as the Illuminati, or the Freemasons, they could even make it so they were originally part of one of those groups, or a merging of “Magic Haters”. Like what was already said, the Salem Trials show how many people like that there are in the world, and have been since the dawn of time.
