That’s a lot of enchanted wood!
No wonder there was only one enchanted tree left for the wardrobe 🙂
My question is, where/who did he get the enchanted wood from to build the ship?
Robert Carlyle has said Rumple is 300-years-old, making Hook about 275-years-old. The EF likely was replete with enchanted trees centuries ago, which is where the timber for the Jolly Roger probably came from. By the time Emma was born, however, the enchanted trees had been deforested to the brink of extinction so that the magic wardrobe Geppetto carved was from the last remaining tree.
And if he didn’t build it, who did?
We won’t know how Killian became the captain of the Jolly Roger until we see his background story though. I like the theory that Killian’s father could be Davey Jones, so maybe Killian inherited the ship from dear ol’ dad.
