I’m reading it right now. My son is 10 but reads books that tend to be a bit older and wants to read it so I am screening it for him. Not to pry but I see that you have Christian movie reviews as one of your Podcasts. My son goes to a Christian School and and we go to a Christian Church and we have heard from a lot of our friends that we shouldn’t read the book. So far I haven’t found anything that I find objectionable and I have actually found several Christian review sites that recommend the book and have good discussion questions. I have also heard that many Christian schools are reading the book in middle and high schools. We are okay with the Harry Potter books and the movies though so I tend to have a bit of a different philosophy on those types of things – I think it is okay to read and watch them as long as you have a good discussion about them afterward. I think I will go see the movie after I finish the book. I don’t know what the movie is rated so I don’t know if my son can see it yet. Not trying to bring up religion here specifically – just noticed that Christianity was mentioned on your signature and wondered . . .
