I’ve heard that as well.
But they have been HINTING at the Peter Pan story throughout the series.
Maybe we just won’t see Peter Pan’s story this season, or we won’t know who he is this season. It all depends what “see” means when the writers say that “we won’t see Peter Pan this season.” 😉
