Since the dark curse transported FTL itself into a land where there is no magic, the breaking of the dark curse would mean that magic would come back to FTL. But here’s the kicker: Since “magic” can’t exist in a relm where there is no magic…everyone will need to go back to their correct relm or another relm that does have magic, right?
But then, if Mr. Gold brought on the dark curse to get rid of his own curse and to find his son again, why would Mr. Gold want the curse broken? On one of the first two episodes, Rumple foresaw Emma to come after 28 years to be the “saviour” and then a great battle would begin he says. What “great battle”? So from that it sounds like if the curse is broken it won’t put things back where they used to be…but would cause some great battle..good vs evil?
