Claude! We hardly knew ye, but congrats on getting some back story. 😉

Ha, how could I forget Claude. That was another thing that I loved.

They coulda made the guy in this ep some totally unrelated random, so I got a real kick outta the fact it was actually poor, doomed Claude.

Well I’m sure he’ll be back on, but it just seems like this show can really drop the ball. Sometimes they can get it just perfect like the ending of last night’s episode or breaking the curse the first season, but then other times, they just let important things go for several episodes and then just have one of the characters address it verbally to give closure to fans and that just frustrates me to no end.

True, stuff like you mentioned can be frustrating and unsatisfying. 😕 I’m keeping the faith that they’ll wrap up August’s role in the story properly though, because it really does seem unavoidable to involve him again if they want to address things like exactly how Emma ended up in jail and why Neal left her. Hopefully my faith won’t be unwarranted in this case.

However, again, I think it would have been better if they waited before Belle rescued Archie so soon after he was kidnapped, so we got to see Cora and Hook spying on the town, and see them become overconfident that they had everyone fooled. Then, Belle could rescue Archie.

It was sorta anti-climactic to only see him be interrogated for about 5 seconds before getting away. And yes, I’d really expected them to be lying low and sussing the town out for longer. I wonder if Cora’s aware of all of Hook’s hasty antics? Will she be unimpressed when she discovers that their cover has already been blown?

Can’t wait to see how Rumbelle progresses (or not) now. Surely they’ll get it together eventually, and he’ll figure out how to get her memories back, but in the meantime it’ll be interesting to see how she reacts to him. I mean, if she’s gotta ask people around her who the strange man is, it’s not like they’re gonna paint a pretty picture for her.

Yes, while it won’t be easy for either party, this actually might be Rumple’s best chance to actually work on bettering himself if he really is sincere in doing so. Old Belle might have been able to forgive Rumple slipping up, but current Belle probably won’t be so forgiving to him.

Exactly, they’ve gotta start from scratch and this is a major turning point for him. Even if everyone badmouths him to her, he still has the opportunity to prove himself either for better or worse. No pressure Rumple, but don’t bugger it up!

Who is Ethan that you say crossed the town line in the car? :/

Ethan Embry is the actor who was driving the car at the end of the ep and is in the promo for next week. Dunno that it was ever officially confirmed by an official source, but we’re all pretty confident that he’s the one who got the gig for the character that was named Barrett in this casting call from a little while ago: http://www.spoilertv.com/2012/10/once-upon-time-episode-211-major.html
