One question about the dark fairy theory, but how do fairies breed in the enchanted Forest? In the Peter Pan mythology, they come from a human baby’s first laugh. They don’t exactly have mothers or fathers. I suppose maybe they adopt each other or there could be some other way Tamara might have a “family blood feud” thing going. Or it is her own personal history that sets her against those in SB?

I’m leaning toward Tamara being completely of this world, but fits into the sort of stories about magic/alien/paranormal collectively “weird stuff” hunters/researcher types.

I like the Tiana idea, but the only thing is, would it be too obscure of a character reference for most of the audience? While the Princess and the Frog’s source story is old enough, this particular version and setting is not even a decade old.
