The whole messed up family tree bit doesn’t squick me out because I’ve never looked at Regina and Leopold’s marriage as a “real” marriage. It was just a convenience thing so Snow had a mother figure around, and I doubt that the marriage was ever even consummated, so I’m not really worried that Regina coulda been sleeping with her uncle. Royal family trees are meant to be tied in knots with cousins marrying each other and whatnot. 😛

I don’t know…my personal experiences are obviously clouding my judgement but it would be really hard to be married and never talk about yourself especially if they really were as in love as we are lead to believe. There would always be a wall between them which would have kept them from having an end all be all love story….

Sorry about your sister. 🙁 I can only imagine how horrible that must have been, and it’s totally understandable that that would influence your judgement of this situation.

What you say about Eva and Leopold having had a wall up if this theory proved true, well perhaps they did. Or perhaps Eva did sometimes sadly mention a sister, though not by name, who had done wrong and how Eva wished she could have changed and maybe if they’d just given her one more chance. That trait would tie in with the person Snow became, and how we saw her wanting to give Regina one final chance.

I actually have a family member who did something horrible & was estranged from the family. I didn’t even know this person existed until I was 10ish.

What a terrible situation. 🙁 Sorry your family had to go through that.
